Mark Dacascos (born February 26, 1964, Honolulu, Hawaii) is an actor and martial arts expert.

His father, Al Dacascos, occurs as martial arts teacher of Filipino, Spanish, and Chinese ancestry. His mother, Moriko McVey, is of Irish and Japanese ancestry. Dacascos refers to McVey when his "natural mother" & his stepmother, martial creative person Malia Bernal, when his "second mother."

Beginning inside January 2005, Dacascos has portrayed "the Chairman" in Food Network's Iron Chef America. This role was played by Takeshi Kaga in the original Japanese Iron Chef. IMDB incorrectly states that Takeshi Kaga is his uncle on his mother's side. This in all probability stems from either confusion on top Dacascos swimming a character of the nephew of "Chairman Kaga" around Iron Chef Us, using a misunderstanding across "Chairman Kaga" himself existence the fictional character.

Dacascos became an actor fallowing existence found walking down the street around San Francisco's Chinatown by two men working for director Wayne Wang, though Dacascos' scenes were deleted from a final cut of the film it were casting. Before his Iron Chef role, he forged the film & television career mostly swimming martial creative person. He at length earned a stellar role in the 1998 television series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, playing a role originated in film by Brandon Lee.
